Construction of a new air separation unit has been completed in the oxygen facility of a metallurgic enterprise in Chelyabinsk Region.
It is the most powerful unit of the whole enterprise, capable of producing up to 60 thousand cubic meters of oxygen per hour and the same amount of pure industrial nitrogen required for manufacturing purposes. In modern metallurgy, nitrogen and oxygen play important roles both in metal treatment processes and as chemical reagents.
The crane department of Benchmark Group has performed installation of the equipment and metal structures for the new air separation unit.
Maximum weight of the mounted equipment has estimated 87 tons.
An XCMG XGC 500 500-ton crawler crane of the company was utilized for the operation.
